Gracias vs Muchas gracias:西班牙文謝謝與不客氣

Gracias vs Muchas gracias: thank you and you are welcome in Spanish

Luna and Nico practising everyday Spanish

Nico 幫 Luna 拿起掉在地上的小物件。Luna 說「¡Gracias!」。一個小小日常場景,就可以練習道謝及回應。

Nico helps Luna pick up a dropped item. Luna says “¡Gracias!”. A small everyday moment is enough to practise thanking someone and responding.

Gracias 和 Muchas gracias 有什麼分別? · What is the difference?

Gracias.

謝謝。
Thank you.

Muchas gracias.

非常謝謝你。
Thank you very much.

Muchas gracias 比 Gracias 更強調謝意;不是簡單地將 Gracias 分成「不禮貌」、Muchas gracias 分成「禮貌」。兩者都可以真誠地道謝,按場合及想表達的感謝程度選擇。

Muchas gracias adds emphasis. It is not a simple split between an impolite gracias and a polite muchas gracias. Both can express sincere thanks; choose according to the situation and how much emphasis you want.

別人道謝,可以怎樣回應? · How can I respond?

De nada.

不客氣。
You are welcome.

De nada 是常見的道謝回應。在這個情境,不需要把字面意思逐字翻譯;把它當作「不客氣」來練。

De nada is a common response to thanks. In this situation, practise it as “You are welcome”, rather than translating it word by word.

Luna、Nico 的小對話 · A tiny conversation

Luna: ¡Muchas gracias!

Luna:非常謝謝你!
Luna: Thank you very much!

Nico: De nada.

Nico:不客氣。
Nico: You are welcome.

換一個日常場景 · Try another everyday moment

想像有人替你開門:說 Gracias。朋友花時間幫你找回遺失物品:可以說 Muchas gracias。有人對你道謝:練習回應 De nada。這些是練習例子,並非固定規則。

Imagine someone holds a door for you: say Gracias. A friend spends time helping you find a lost item: try Muchas gracias. Someone thanks you: respond De nada. These are practice examples, not fixed rules.

30 秒開口任務 · A 30-second speaking task

先慢慢唸 Gracias、Muchas gracias、De nada。再想像你是 Luna,向 Nico 道謝;最後交換角色,回應「不客氣」。

Say Gracias, Muchas gracias and De nada slowly. Imagine you are Luna thanking Nico, then swap roles and respond “You are welcome”.
