Un café, por favor.
請給我一杯咖啡。
A coffee, please.
Un té, por favor.
請給我一杯茶。
A tea, please.
Por favor 是「請／麻煩你」。Café 的重音在最後一個音節；té 的重音符號用來和另一個字作區別。
Por favor means please. The accent in café marks stress on the final syllable. The written accent in té distinguishes it from another word.
點一杯咖啡，再改成點茶。
Order a coffee, then change your order to tea.

¿Me trae la carta, por favor?
麻煩你，可以給我菜單嗎？
Could you bring me the menu, please?
La cuenta, por favor.
麻煩你，我要結帳。
The bill, please.
Carta 在餐廳可以指菜單。Cuenta 在這個情境指帳單。Me trae 是向服務生提出禮貌請求的 usted 形式。
In a restaurant, carta can mean menu and cuenta means bill. Me trae uses the polite usted form to address the server.
